Krystal is our Hospital Administrator and has been working at Loving Care since February 2008. She started off as a veterinary technician, but quickly realized her true passion was not only helping the animals, but their owners as well. Her interests include educating clients on the importance of preventative care, training team members, and managing the hospital’s daily duties. Krystal and her boyfriend Cody have 3 dogs, Cullen the great dane, Gibson the lab, and Dax the Australian shepherd. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, baking, DIY projects, and gardening.

CC, Clinic Cat #1

My name is CC and I have been the official Clinic Cat for Loving Care since July 2003 when I was just 6 weeks old. I enjoy sleeping most of the day, but you will sometimes catch me in the rooms comforting new patients and their owners. My hobbies include, sunbathing in the windows, searching for treats, and rummaging around in women's purses.

Shelley Morgan,
Receptionist

Shelley is new to the veterinary field and has been working as a Receptionist at Loving Care Pet Hospital for about a year and a half. Her favorite part of the day is when she can get away from the phones for a quick snuggle before a patient is taken to an exam room. She frequently battles with CC over control of the desk and computer. When not at work Shelley enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, her dog Sammie and cat Tiger.

Kimberly McDermott,
Vet Technician

Kimberly has had a life long passion for animals. She started her career to be a Vet Tech in 2006 and her passion has only grown since. Kimberly received her CVA (certified veterinary assistant) though Cedar Valley College and is planning on becoming a RVT (registered veterinary technician).
She is happily married and a mother of 2 boys. She has several four legged friends; 2 cats - Dixie & Annabelle, 2 dogs - Cadence & Sophie, and 3 Nigerian dwarf goats - Hank, Merle, & Cash. In her down time she loves relaxing, spending time with family/friends, and enjoying her fur babies.

Sherry Hinson,
Vet Technician

Sherry has been a member of our Loving Care staff for 3 years and has 17 years experience as a vet technician . Her hobbies include crocheting, reading and shopping for antiques. Sherry enjoys spending her time off with her great grandchildren. She resides in Texas City with her cat, Eli.

AshleyAcosta,
Vet Technician

My name is Ashley Acosta and I have worked as a veterinary technician for Loving Care Pet Hospital since June 2017. I've loved animals since my childhood and my goal is to be able to care for them with nothing but compassion and understanding. I'm a very loving, caring and kind person, who enjoys the outdoors and helping others. I hope to see you and your furry loved one in our clinic doing great.

Devin Sefcik,
Vet Technician

Devin has been a veterinary technician since September 2012. She is passionate about helping animals and she grew up in the livestock industry. She enjoys making others laugh, and has officially been dubbed the clinic jokester. Devin has 1 dachshund named Rufus, and 3 horses, Easy, Ace and Caddy. Outside of work, she enjoys hunting, riding horses, and spending time with family and friends.

Ralph
Clinic Cat #2

My name is Ralph and I am the official door greeter for Loving Care Pet Hospital. I have been a team member since July 2014, when the Hospital Administrator found me causing trouble on the streets. She took me in, taught me manners, and gave me a job. Now that I am domesticated, I enjoy roaming the halls and visiting hospitalized patients, making sure the staff stays in line, and begging for a yummy treat. While I’ve mainly giving up the street life, I still enjoy the occasional cat-nip from time to time, but the manager says it’s unacceptable to do it during hospital hours.

Samantha Husband
Receptionist

Samantha has been working as a receptionist since May 2017. Prior to working at Loving Care, she served as a paramedic for the city of Alvin. Although she enjoyed being a paramedic, her true passion is working with animals, so she went looking for a change and joined our team. Samantha has a miniature dachshund named Luci, that she loves to take fishing. In her free time, she enjoys surfing at the beach and spending time with her family.
