Hospital Administrator

Kayla has been the Hospital Administrator for Loving Care for the past two years. She has been in veterinary medicine for the past twelve years and has found leadership to be her most rewarding position.

Kayla knew early on she wanted to be part of the veterinary world at an early age. She had a special bond with her family’s pets growing up.  This love grew in 2007 when she adopted the first pet of her own, Bentley.  Kayla started as a veterinary technician in 2009 but found her true passion in leadership. She became a Practice Manager of her first practice in 2012.  She found her passion to be supporting and guiding team members to be the best version of themselves in their roles within the practice. Kayla became a board member for the Houston Veterinary Practice Managers Association in 2015, where she sat as the Social Director for five years. Her role in supporting dozens of managers like herself within the Houston and surrounding areas to this day has been one of her greatest accomplishments.

In her free time, she likes to spend time with her husband and two small children, too many fish to count, and a very happy hound, Penny.

At Loving Care, we are a family.  She is incredibly proud to be part of such a hardworking and dedicated team that practices exceptional service and medicine to the Santa Fe and surrounding areas. We look forward to serving you and your pets!

Clinic Cat

My name is Ralph and I am the official door greeter for Loving Care Pet Hospital. I have been a team member since July 2014, when the Hospital Administrator found me causing trouble on the streets. She took me in, taught me manners, and gave me a job. Now that I am domesticated, I enjoy roaming the halls and visiting hospitalized patients, making sure the staff stays in line, and begging for a yummy treat. While I’ve mainly giving up the street life, I still enjoy the occasional cat-nip from time to time, but the manager says it’s unacceptable to do it during hospital hours.
